Two months Summer Internship Programme under DST-SERB-SSR-2023:- AIIMS Bilaspur

Applications are invited from motivated and eligible candidates for Summer Internship position/program in the Department of Biochemistry. AIIMS Bilaspur Himachal Pradesh-174001. This position is advertised under the SSR scheme of DST-SERB for its funded project.

Project Title: Understanding the role of Ubiquitously Transcribed Tetratricopeptide Repeat Containing, Y-Linked (UTY)in Epithelial-mesenchymal transition of oral cancer cells”

Principal Investigator: Dr. Manish Kumar, Biochemistry, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh.

Essential Qualification: Pursuing students of M.Sc./M.Tech/B.Tech (Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Lifesciences/Microbiology) in the final year of their Postgraduate from the discipline of Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Lifesciences or allied subjects are encouraged to apply.

Number of positions: One (01)

Fellowship: Rs.5000 p.m. for two months (Consolidated)

Duration: Up to two months (8 weeks)

Selection Criteria: Students will be selected based on their academic profile and research proposal. Selected candidate will be intimated by email only regarding their selection.

General Conditions:

1. Selected student will be supported by a financial assistantship of Rs. 10000/- (@5000pm for 2 months only).

2. Financial support for other activities like travel, boarding and lodging will not be provided.

3. Student will have to make their own arrangements for stay during the dissertation period.
