Online Applications from the desirous eligible candidates are invited through website www.hptechboard.com for the Entrance Test of Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT-2023) and Lateral Entry Entrance Test (LEET-2023) for admission to Diploma courses in Govt. /Pvt. Polytechnics of Himachal Pradesh for the Academic session 2023-24. These Entrance tests will be conducted by H.P. Takniki Shiksha Board. Dharamshala. The complete details of conduct of these tests along with eligibility criteria are as under:-

HP PAT 2023:-

Starting date for Submission of online application forms w.e. f.:-03.04.2023 (Monday)
Last date for submission of online application forms along with fee.:-Up to 02.05.2023 (upto 12:00 Midnight.)
Fee :- Through Net Banking/Credit/Debit Card FOR GENERAL CATEGORY =Rs.650/- FOR SC/ST/OBC CATEGORY = Rs.400/-
DATE OF EXAMINATION:- 21.05.2023 (SUNDAY) 10:00 AM TO 01:00 PM.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION:- The minimum eligibility criteria for admission to 15 year Engineering courses and Architecture Assistantship course etc in Govt./ Private Polytechnics of Himachal Pradesh is that the candidate must have passed 10th standard with 35% marks at the qualifying examination from a recognized Board/University or its equivalent as prescribed by the AICTE/COA. In Case, candidate has appeared or going to appear in Matriculation is i also eligible to appear in the Entrance test provisionally but his/her eligibility shall be verified at the time of counseling by the central Admission Selection Committee.

HP LEET 2023:-

Starting date for Submission of online application forms w.e. f.:-05.04.2023
Last date for submission of online application forms along with fee.:-Up to 06.05.2023 (upto 12:00 Midnight.)
Fee :- Through Net Banking/Credit/Debit Card FOR GENERAL CATEGORY =Rs.650/- FOR SC/ST/OBC CATEGORY = Rs.400/-
DATE OF EXAMINATION:- 28.05.2023 (SUNDAY) 10:00 AM TO 12:00 PM.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION:- The Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with physics/Mathematics/Chemistry/Computer Science/Electronics/Information Technology/Biology/Informatics Practices/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational Graphics/Business subject/Agriculture/Engineering Studies/Entrepreneurship as prescribed by AICTE. Or 10th +2 years ITI under NCVT/SCVT/COE in Engineering stream shall be eligible for admission to Second year Diploma Course(s) of appropriate Programme as per AICTE Norms. In Case, candidates has appeared or going to appear in 10+2/NCVT/SCVT/COE examinations. is also eligible to appear in the Entrance test provisionally but his/her eligibility shall be verified at the time of counseling by the central Admission Selection Committee. The admission to Engineering Diploma Programmer shall be done on the basis of AICTE approval Process Handbook Appendix 1.3 (a).

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:-

1. The desirous candidates are advised to keep ready

(a) A scanned copy of a self signed colored passport size photograph (size 10KB-200KB) in jpg/jpeg format. (b) The scanned signature (size 3kb-30kb) in jpg/jpeg, format.

2. Before filling the online application form, read the prospectus (Part-I & Part-II) carefully available on the website.

3. For filling up of online application form, candidate can take help in the facilitation centres created in Govt. Polytechnics & ITIS. The detail of facilitation centres is available on HPTSB website.

4. After the declaration of Polytechnic Admission Test result, candidates must have to fill the Part-II of Application form available on the website for online counseling. The candidate has to enter the choice of Branch and Polytechnic along with other required information in this form. The first two round of counseling will be online.
