Education Department, Chandigarh Administration invites online applications from eligible candidates to fill up 293posts of Junior Basic Training (JBTs) (Primary Teacher, class-I-V) on regular basis as per following details :

Important Dates Opening date of online Application: 20.07.2023 from 11.00 AM onwards  Closing date of Application :14.08.2023upto 05.00 PM  Last date to deposit the fees :17.08.2023 unto 02.00 PM					Application Fee Fee payable: Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only).   Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Disabilities  (PwBD) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.  Fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards or through cash in SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.
SSC MTS & Havaldar Notification 2023 Age Limit as on 01/08/2023  Candidates age should be strictly between 21 to 37 years as on 01.01.2023.  Relaxation to SC/OBC/ESM/PwBD and other category candidates will be given as per the instructions issued by Govt. of India/Chandigarh Administration. Under OBC category, candidates of those castes will be given benefits which are included in Union Territory, Chandigarh list.  Contract Teachers, Guest Teachers and Samagra Shiksha Teachers, working in Govt. Schools of Chandigarh will be given age relaxation equal to the period rounded to nearby month they worked in Govt. Schools under Chandigarh Administration. This relaxation will be applicable to the above category of teachers for direct recruitment who are working in Education Department Chandigarh/Samagra Shiksha Chandigarh on closing date for submission of application.

(by whatever name known) of less than 02 years duration recognised by NCTE. not OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education(B.Ed.).  Pass in Central Teacher Eligibility Test conducted in accordance with the Guidelines framed by NCTE.

The candidates applying for the posts of JBT should ensure that they fulfil the eligibility conditions as per details mentioned in the advertisement.  Their candidature will be provisional at all the stages of recruitment process i.e.acceptance of online applications, issue of admit cards and scrutiny of original documents. Eligibility status will be uploaded on the website in respect of those candidates who are called   for scrutiny of original documents.
