IIIT Una is one of the 20 IIITs being setup, funded, and managed by the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India under the Public Private Partnership (PPP) model. The partners of IIIT Una (Saloh) are the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India, the Govt. of Himachal Pradesh, HP Power Corporation Limited, and HP Transmission Corporation Limited. Admissions to the undergraduate programs in the Institute are made through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). The Institute is looking for enthusiastic and dynamic nationals with excellent consistent academic record from Secondary School to Graduation for the post of Senior Engineering Assistant (Electrical) on outsource basis, in the following discipline:

1. Name of the Post :-Senior Engineering Assistant (Electrical)

2. Nature of Post:- Outsourced

3. No. of Posts :-One

4. Salary per Month Approximately:- Rs.30,000/- per month (Consolidated)

5. Age Limit <=35 year

6. Essential Qualification and Experience:-

i) Secondary (10th) from recognized board/School.

ii) Three years Diploma in Electrical Engineering with at least 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA from recognized board/College with a minimum of 05 Years experience in the relevant field or

iii) B.E./ B.Tech in Electrical engineering with at least 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA from recognized University/Institution with a minimum of 03 Years experience in the relevant field.

7. Desirable - Knowledge of estimation, Labour laws and preparation of budget for construction works. - Knowledge of CPWD maintenance manual/GFR/GCC. - Software application like AutoCAD, MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint. - Good Letter drafting skills. - Good Communication skills.
