Indian Navy invites applications from eligible ex-Naval Apprentices (ex-apprentices of Dockyard Apprentice Schools of Indian Navy) to apply ON-LINE through Indian Navy website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in for the post of Tradesman Skilled. Selected candidates normally will have to serve in the units under administrative control of (a) Headquarters, Western Naval Command, Mumbai, (b) Headquarters, Eastern Naval Command, Visakhapatnam and (c) Headquarters, Southern Naval Command, Kochi. They can however be posted anywhere in India, at Naval units / formations as per administrative requirement.
Age Limit. Between 18 and 25 years as on crucial date with relaxation as under. -
(a) Relaxable for Government servants upto forty years in accordance with instructions or orders issued by Central Government from time to time and further relaxable for five years, as in the case of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
(b) Relaxable to apprentices to the extent of the period for which the apprentice had undergone training.
Essential. Matriculation or equivalent from a recognised Institute or Board with knowledge of English
(b) Should have completed Apprenticeship Training in the trade.
OR
Mechanic or equivalent with two years regular service in the appropriate Technical Branch of the Army. Navy and Air Force Note: Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Appointing Authority in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified

- Online registrationof applications Opening date) :- From the third day of publication Notification in the Employment News.
- Last date of registration(Closing date):- On 28th day from Opening date of registration (upto 2330 hrs).
